Plateau State mourns deputy chief of staff to the governor, Yusuf Hawaja



The Deputy Chief of Staff to Plateau state government, Yusuf Gambo Hawaja, has died. According to family sources, the deceased who is a lawyer by training, died today at the Bingham University Teaching hospital in Jos. He had been suffering from an undisclosed ailment. He slumped at his home this morning and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Okezie Ikpeazu Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Hands Over To Deputy

IGBERE TV reports that Ikpeazu has gone into isolation, as required by relevant NCDC protocols, and he is being managed by a competent team of medical practitioners with a view to nursing him back to good health. In a statement made available to IGBERE TV on Monday by Abia State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi, said the Governor has directed his Deputy, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, to act on his behalf pending his full resumption of duties.
